He graduated in classical Piano, Electronic Music and Jazz (two-years master’s degree named “Arranging and conducting jazz orchestra”) from Conservatory of Music “G. Rossini” in Pesaro (Italy), where he attended more than half of classical Composition course too. He’s been studying with Bruno Tommaso, Eugenio Giordani, Gian Marco Gualandi, Lorenzo Bavaj, Mario Totaro, Mauro Ferrante, Stefano Zenni. He also met Bob Brookmeyer and took advice from him. Then he perfected himself in Film Music Composition with Luis Bacalov at the Accademia Musicale Chigiana in Siena (Italy). After secondary school (Classical Lyceum) he also attended for two years the Faculty of Architecture in Florence (Italy).

His main activity presently is composition and arranging, in several fields of application. He has branched out into different areas and genres, working as a: conductor or member of several vocal groups (some of which he personally began, sometimes resorting to self-made transcriptions), freelance arranger for radio stations, composer of chamber music, songs, original pieces and arrangements for big band, film music (art documentaries and short movies). As a teacher – activity which he loves as much – he’s been employed by state secondary schools, courses financed by european funds, private schools. Recently, as a schoolteacher, he conducts a children’s orchestra and a youth orchestra.
